Your Responsibilities
Learn and apply methods to improve product costs of components/systems systematically (ABC analysis, value analysis, should costing, target costing, etc.)
Deep dive on specific components and compare technical and cost relevant features
Pro-actively collect ideas with product cost impact from various functions (e.g., Sourcing, Engineering, Service, Operations), evaluate and prioritize ideas based on given criteria’s
Support & lead the cross-functional initiation of projects under guidance of a mentor
Support administrative activities within Product Line Management Team
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or in a technical field (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical or process engineering)
Full time preferred, part time with max. 20 hours/week possible
First project management experience is desired
High motivation and ability to work independently
Clear and precise communication style, feeling comfortable in a diverse, international and very dynamic environment
Very good MS-Office and analytic skills
Fluent in English, German or any other languages are a plus
A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The internship is to be filled as soon as possible for 6 months with a possible extension to 12 months. The basic salary for this position is based on the statutory minimum salary of EUR 2.698,59 gross per month in Austria.
